Description
Quick oven-baked pizzas made with spelt pita breads, tomato sauce, and simple toppings. Crisp edges, soft centres, and ready in minutes. Ideal for easy meals, packed lunches, or quick dinners.
Ingredients
Instructions
- Heat oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Line a baking tray.
- Place spelt pitas on the tray.
- Spread tomato passata evenly over each pita.
- Sprinkle mozzarella across the surface.
- Add red onion and cherry tomatoes.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Season with oregano and black pepper.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts and edges crisp.
- Remove from oven and rest for 1 minute.
- Add basil, slice, and serve.
- Note: Bake directly on the oven rack for extra crisp bases.
