Fluffy Spelt Garlic Naan
Description
This quick and flavourful naan is made with wholegrain spelt flour, garlic and yoghurt. It’s soft, chewy, and ideal for serving with curries or dipping sauces.

Mix the Dough: In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast. Stir in yoghurt, warm water, and olive oil until a dough forms.

Knead: Knead for 6–8 minutes until smooth. Add more flour if sticky.

First Rise: Cover and let rest in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.

Divide and Roll: Punch down dough. Divide into 6 balls. Roll each into an oval about 5 mm thick.

Cook the Naan: Heat a dry pan over medium-high heat. Cook each naan for 1–2 minutes per side until puffed and spotted.

Add Garlic Butter: Mix melted butter with garlic. Brush over hot naan and sprinkle with coriander if using.

Serve: Enjoy warm or keep wrapped in a clean towel until ready.
